Dental Bridges
We do our best to keep teeth for as long as possible, but sometimes they must go. A dental bridge is a great option for missing teeth, and it has been used in dentistry for decades. Crowns are placed on the teeth beside the empty space, and a false tooth is attached in the middle.
Bridges are relatively quick to place and can look very natural with modern dental porcelains. Unfortunately, placing a bridge involves cutting the teeth beside the space for crowns. Bridges can also be difficult to keep clean, as you must use certain brushes or flossing tools to get underneath them. Another treatment option for replacing missing teeth is dental implants.
